Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
📦 Submissions & Getting Started
How do I submit cards to Graded Cards Australia?
You can submit cards by visiting our
👉 Submit Cards page
and following the step-by-step process. Choose your grading company, service level, and complete your order online before posting your cards to us.
Can I submit cards in person?
No. All submissions are handled via post to ensure accurate tracking and consistent processing.
Do you accept international submissions?
We primarily accept submissions within Australia. International options may be available for specific graders—check the Submit Cards page for the latest updates.
⏱ Turnaround Times & Timetables
How long does grading take?
Turnaround times vary by grading company and service level. These timelines begin once cards are received and processed, not when the order is placed.
Where can I see current turnaround estimates?
We maintain a live Submission Timetable showing expected turnaround times for each grader:
👉 View Submission Timetable
Why do turnaround times change?
Grading companies experience fluctuating demand. Delays can occur due to volume spikes, quality control checks, or seasonal backlogs.
🔍 Tracking & Order Updates
Can I track my submission?
Yes. Once your submission is logged, you can follow its progress online via:
👉 Track My Grading Order
Will I receive email updates?
Yes. You’ll receive updates at key stages, including when cards are received, sent to the grader, returned, and shipped back to you.
💰 Pricing & Fees
How much does card grading cost?
Pricing depends on the grading company and service level you choose. Full details are available here:

Are there any hidden fees?
No. All standard grading fees are clearly displayed before checkout. Any optional upgrades are clearly explained.
Do grading companies charge value-based upcharges?
Some graders apply upcharges if a card’s final graded value exceeds certain thresholds. These fees are set by the grading company, not by Graded Cards Australia.
🛡 Card Safety & Handling
How are my cards protected?
Cards are carefully inspected, documented, and securely packaged at every stage of the process.
Do you clean or alter cards before grading?
No. We do not alter cards in any way. Alterations can result in a card being rejected or labeled “altered” by the grading company.
📬 Shipping & Returns
How are graded cards returned to me?
Cards are returned via tracked shipping. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Can multiple submissions be combined into one return?
Where possible, yes. This depends on grading timelines and submission structure.
❌ Cancellations & Refunds
Can I cancel my submission?
Orders can only be cancelled before cards are sent to the grading company. Once submitted, cancellations are not possible.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only available for unused services. Grading fees already paid to grading companies are non-refundable.
